Greetings Async-ionados!

6 months in and there are 6,899 of us now. That's a helluva lot of collective experience, wisdom, and insight to tap into. Β

For this week's member thread, I'm turning the tables and asking what work questions you want to see the community answer. They can be super practical or generally philosophical, very broad or specific to a situation you want advice on.

Ask and you may see your question in a future member thread.

For each member thread starting today, I'll pick one commenter to send out a very limited edition async mug you can casually bring to all your work meetings...😈

A matte black mug with "Work async not ASAP" in white lettering.

See you next time,

Becky and the Twist team

P.S. ICYMI, last week's newsletter issue pulled together members' best scripts for saying no to a meeting. (Very handy for the next time someone suggests hopping on a "quick call".)

In response, a newsletter member reached out with this amazing example I had to share. Thanks for making my day, Bill!

A typed letter dated 1956 stating "Dear Mr. Adams: Thanks for your letter inviting me to join the committee of the Arts and Sciences for Eisenhower. I must decline, for secret reasons. Sincerely, E.B. White"

What’s Twist? Twist is an async messaging app for teams burned out by real-time chat, meetings, and email.

You don’t need to use Twist to get a ton of value out of this newsletter and community. But if the topics we talk about resonate with you, there’s a good chance the app will too. See what makes Twist different β†’
